The US equities markets extended their gains last Friday (DJIA +0.19%, S&P500 +0.16%, Nasdaq +0.38%). However, emerging market shares like the iShares MSCI Philippines ETF and PLDT ADR dipped by 2.70% and 0.65%, respectively. This may now lead to a similar weakness in the local market today.
